Well, that was painless. I did almost forget to back up my Fonts folder, and that would have led to hours at Blambot and whateverthefuck other font sites I'd gotten my massive font collection from and digging through unmarked CD-Rs to rebuild the damn thing.

Also, I can't seem to find my video driver CD, which means either a 30MB download from Gigabyte, a trip to work, or a ghetto driver.

Running Windows Update now.

Computer comes to life, just as IO goes boom! Got "all circuits are busy" for a while; they warned that might happen while they're tinkering with shit.

...which reminds me. They haven't sent me an invoice in about two months, and I'm pretty sure I owe them money.

I have two of the Big Three installed, and the third will be done as soon as I find my stinkin' Poser Pro Pack CD. It's probably in Tahiti with my video driver CD.

I also found a CD containing a montage of Real Ghostbusters footage with the Budweiser "Whassaaaaaaaaap!" commercial audio dubbed onto it.

I completely forgot I had this.

And now, I make XP purty. God damn me, I cannot resist the power of EYE CANDY.

...anyone know where I might find a visual style with a nice Silent Hill-y feel to it? Half the shit on customize.org and belchfire is "user wishes he/she was running OSX" shiny crap.

(Yes, I have StyleBuilder, but I am not yet wise enough to know its ways to roll my own.)
